*Special note: The GIC Youth Group is not currently running. Check out the Gender Expansive Kids Group at the Community Care Collective from 11:00am to 1:00pm on the first and third Sunday of every month. The Gender Expansive Kids Group is sponsored by PFLAG Denver and provides support for children ages 3-13 who may identify as transgender, non-binary, gender nonconforming, gender fluid, or those exploring gender identity/expression. The group welcomes siblings and creates a safe space for kids to express themselves. A facilitator will divide the kids into age-appropriate groups and offer a fun activity, craft, or game related to a supportive topic. Group topics may include confidence, bullying, making friends, activism, creativity, and celebrating our differences. Please contact Jessie Read (former GIC intern and group facilitator) at email@example.com for more information.
