All groups are expected to adhere to the Gender Identity Center Code of Conduct

Active GIC Support Groups

Youth Social Support Group
Every other Sunday 11am-1pm

(See GIC calendar for dates and details)
This group is for 3 to 13 year old trans* children, their siblings, and children of trans parents.  Parents/Guardians hang out in a separate group.

This weekend group is being held as indicated although the GIC is otherwise closed for drop ins.

Non-binary Group
Mondays @ 6:30 pm

Non-binary Group is open to individuals who identify outside of a strict binary and anyone who is questioning their own identity. We will be meeting under a peer-led, open discussion format every Monday night from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm, with a brief break around 7:30pm. Supportive family and friends are welcome to attend on the last Monday of each month.

Transitions Support Group
Tuesdays @ 6:30 pm

This meeting is for trans* people who are in transition and are needing help and support with the issues associated with their ongoing transition. This meeting is open to anyone going through transition, F2M/M2F/Nonbinary or any gender variant person who is going through a  gender role transition.

Young Adult group
Every Thursday 6:00 pm

This group is for trans* and gender variant individuals under the age of 30.  The goal of this group is to be a safe and open space for people to share and process any and all parts of their transition experience with peers. Drop in on this group is you want to work though and develop your personal goals, skills building,  anxiety management, and create healthy social connections.

Inactive GIC Support Groups

Significant Others, Family, Friends, and Allies (SOFFA) Group
This group was only for the significant others, families, friends and allies of transgender, non-binary, and gender non-conforming people.

The group is inactive because there currently isn’t a facilitator for the group. Ideally the facilitator should be from the SOFFA community. If you are interested in being a facilitator for the SOFFA Group please send an email expressing your interest to info@giccolorado.org

Trans-Masculine Support Group
This group was for transmen.

The group is inactive because there currently isn’t a facilitator for the group. Ideally the facilitator should be from the Trans-Masculine community. If you are interested in being a facilitator for the Trans-Masculine Group please send an email expressing your interest to info@giccolorado.org

Intersex Support Group
This group was for those who are intersexed.

This group is inactive because it went on hiatus due to low attendance. If you are interested in the intersex group please send an email expressing your interest to info@giccolorado.org
